Overview - 1 Day Course

This course is intended to be an awareness course to understand the principle of landfill gas composition and management.

The aims of this course would be to provide delegates with the knowledge to understand the composition of landfill gas and the principles of landfill gas production and management; to ensure delegates are aware of all current regulatory controls and guidance covering landfill gas; and ensure delegates understand the health and safety issues and controls for managing and monitoring landfill gas, including a basic understanding of DSEAR.

  • Describe correctly the principles and legislative requirements of landfill gas control, extraction and utilisation;
